Born without a womb Jennifer Gobrecht was told by doctors at age 17 that she was unlikely to have a child. Jennifer has a rare genetic condition referred to as MRKH and occurs in 1 in every 4,500 women. I had the opportunity to sit down with Jennifer and listen to her journey to motherhood, which was not a normal journey at all.
In November 2019, Jennifer was the she the second woman in the U.S. to give birth to a baby following a uterus transplant from a deceased donor and the third person in the world to give birth this way.
Jennifer's story proves that women are incredible and where there is a will, there is a way.
Tune in tomorrow to hear about Jennifer's story.
